On the 14th of August there took place the final of the Eddie Bodill Trophy.The players were ( Mr Reliable ) John Bennett.and the classy Diane Ford and they were facing the pairing of two good bowlers in Joe Hurley and Graham Allin.The game was nip and tuck all the way through,first one team got the better of the exchanges and then the other,until they came to the final end with the pairing of Hurley and Allin one shot in front,but Bennett and Ford came through by taking two shots on the final end to take the title by one shot.So congratulations to John Bennett and Diane Ford and commiserations to Joe Hurley and Graham Allin.
